Better products start with better materials

Graphene has promised exceptional performance for decades, but most materials still force a trade-off between conductivity, processability, and scalable production. Sixonia was founded to solve this gap — with eGraphene, a functionalized few-layer graphene platform that helps improve conductivity, barrier performance, mechanical stability, and processability at low loading levels.

From university research to industrial eGraphene production.

2017-2020

Invention & early validation:

Development of the core eGraphene process and first customer/application validation.

2020-2024

Pilot production & IP foundation
300 kg/a Pilot production, process development, and global patent protection for electrochemical exfoliation and in-situ functionalization.

2025

Sixonia founded and funded
Sixonia was established as a commercialization company with a complete management team, €2,6m total funding, and a growing customer base with validation across batteries and coatings.
